Electric Saw Slices Through Thick Materials

Husqvarna

The K 3000 electric Cut-n-Break from Husqvarna is capable of cutting through walls up to 16 inches thick, and is suited for window and door openings, crack chasing and joint repairs. The unit features an upper blade guard that is flexible enough to move out of the way when cutting and is equipped with rollers at the tip to prevent snagging when cutting brick. The sliding guard can be positioned to flush cut and the low water usage system along with a 12-volt, 15-amp electric motor offers versatility for indoor and outdoor use.

“The K 3000 Cut-n-Break is double insulated and has GFCI for protection built in so users don't have to have a special extension cord to operate,” says Mike Ward, product manager of power cutters for Husqvarna. “It also features Softstart, which allows smooth start up, and an Elgard overland protection system. The ergonomic design of the handles increases operator's comfort.”

A wet-cutting system on the K 3000 Cut-n-Break keeps water usage at a minimum to supply enough water to suppress dust but not cause excessive slurry.

Verified by Mike Ward, product manager of power cutters for Husqvarna.
