GENERAL PIPE CLEANERS

The Mini-Rooter from General Wire Spring carries 75 feet of three-eighths- or half-inch Flexicore cable and weighs 60 pounds. The zinc-plated cage features an integral inner drum and distributor tube to prevent cable tangling. The one-third-horsepower unit has a pneumatic foot pedal for hands-free cable control, a ground fault circuit interrupter and a safety slip clutch to protect the cable. The RAM-6 Ream-A-Matic is a rotary tube-cleaning machine. Powered by a 1.5-horsepower, variable-speed drive motor, the unit removes soft and hard deposits from smooth bore and internally enhanced tubes and pipes one-fourth of an inch to 1 inch wide, Goodway Technologies says. The unit feeds high-pressure water through the casing to the cleaning tool mounted at the tip of the flexible shaft to loosen and flush deposits.
