GENERAL PIPE CLEANERS

The Mini-Rooter from General Wire Spring carries 75 feet of three-eighths- or half-inch Flexicore cable and weighs 60 pounds. The zinc-plated cage features an integral inner drum and distributor tube to prevent cable tangling. The one-third-horsepower unit has a pneumatic foot pedal for hands-free cable control, a ground fault circuit interrupter and a safety slip clutch to protect the cable. An optional dolly is available. www.drainbrain.com

RIDGE TOOL

The Ridgid/Kollmann K-380 cleans indoor drain lines 1.5 to 4 inches wide, according to Ridge Tool. The torque limit feature helps prevent cable flip-over by causing the drum to stop spinning when the cable begins to twist. Powered by a one-third-horsepower motor that spins the cable at 190 rpm, the unit is available with drum capacities of 100 feet of three-eighths-inch or 75 feet of half-inch continuous integral-wound solid-core cable. An optional auto-feed mechanism allows hands-free operation. www.ridgid.com

ELECTRIC EEL

The Model C sectional sewer- and drain-cleaning machine cleans 3- to 10-inch-diameter lines up to 200 feet long, Electric Eel says. The unit features 8- or 10-foot cable sections, a Baldor motor, an adjustable safety clutch, a cast-aluminum base and a carry handle attached to the motor. 800/833-1212

GOODWAY

The RAM-6 Ream-A-Matic is a rotary tube-cleaning machine. Powered by a 1.5-horsepower, variable-speed drive motor, the unit removes soft and hard deposits from smooth bore and internally enhanced tubes and pipes one-fourth of an inch to 1 inch wide, Goodway Technologies says. The unit feeds high-pressure water through the casing to the cleaning tool mounted at the tip of the flexible shaft to loosen and flush deposits. Other features include output water pressure up to 500 pounds per square inch and a cleaning solution injection system. www.goodway.com
