Brokk 100 is Not Your Ordinary Demolition Robot

Brokk AB introduces the Brokk 100 demolition machine, featuring a compact design and 35-percent greater breaking power than the the Brokk 90 that it replaces. The Brokk 100 remote-controlled demolition machine is designed for use in a variety of industries including cement and metal processing, construction and demolition, mining and tunneling, nuclear, and other specialty applications.

“For a rental operation offering other kinds of demolition equipment, the Brokk 100 brings unique capabilities that under the right job conditions, other equipment simply can't do,” says Peter Bigwood, vice president of sales & marketing for Brokk Inc. “Where access is not a problem, weight not an issue, space not a consideration, emissions not a factor, then other, larger, and more traditional types of equipment are just fine.”

The Brokk 100 can operate with limited access, work in confined space, tread lightly with low floor loads, create zero emissions and climb stairs. Maximum horizontal reach is 12.1 feet and vertical reach is 14.1 feet. Powered by a 20-hp electric motor, Brokk 100 offers two power levels — 16 and 32 amp.

“A rental operation looking to differentiate themselves from the guys down the street with skid steers, backhoes and excavators, can offer the Brokk and enable their demolition contractor customers (and concrete sawing and drilling contractors, and heavy and highway construction contractors) to tackle those jobs where traditional approaches don't work,” Bigwood says.

Additional features include upgraded cooling capacity, impact-resistant steel covers, improved rubber pads on the outriggers and LED lights with virtually unbreakable covers.
