Air Tools Available for the Rental Industry
Kaeser Compressors
The KPB series of ergonomic paving breakers from Kaeser Compressors are available in 50-, 60- and 90-pound models. These air tools are designed to reduce fatigue and increase productivity. The units come equipped with integral noise mufflers to reduce noise pollution and the risk of hearing loss. A variety of tool steels such as chisels, points, asphalt cutters or ground rod drivers are available to handle specific applications.

General Equipment
General Equipment's MDF15 long reach air tool is designed for asbestos abatement, coating and acoustic tile removal, as well as a variety of surface cleaning and preparation applications. The aluminum-constructed unit weighs less than 10 pounds without additional accessory tools and is suited for above-waist and overhead projects. The MDF15 produces 3,700 bpm while requiring a flow rate of 6 cfm at 90 psi. An optional tool caddie provides continuous clean, lubricated air necessary to maximize service life and productivity.

DeWalt
DeWalt introduces two heavy-duty 15-gauge and 16-gauge finish nailers the D51276K (pictured) and D51257K which are designed with a patent-pending Sealed Lube Dual Tech feature that allows for oil-free or oil-lube operation. The nailers are able to drive 1- to 2½-inch nails into hardwoods, such as oak. The units are designed with an internal piston catch to provide maximum power and a consistent drive on each shot. A tool-free jam clear helps users quickly remove bent nails and a 360-degree exhaust cap channels air and dust away from the user throughout operation.

CS Unitec
CS Unitec offers the CSR 150 pneumatic walk-behind saw for cutting concrete and asphalt up to 7 inches deep. Weighing 107 pounds, this saw is easily portable between jobsites. Designed for breaking out concrete and asphalt, this 9.5-hp saw is available with a blade capacity of up to 20 inches in diameter. The heavy-duty gearbox runs at 2,900 rpm and produces high torque output to cut hard materials. This model consumes 92 cfm at 100 psi. It includes a splash guard for wet-cutting applications.

Chicago Pneumatic Construction Tools
Chicago Pneumatic's rivet busters are designed with a controlled power system that prevents blank firing when a unit's bumpers are 75-percent worn to extend equipment life, enhance long-term performance and avoid downtime. The rivet buster models include the CP 4608 and CP4611 (pictured), which deliver 8-inch and 11-inch tool strokes, respectively. Both units require 45 cfm of air for operation and each model is available with either a D-type ergonomic trigger handle or a pistol handle.

Edco's air-powered chisel scaler, with its slim profile and versatile accessories, is designed for use on construction sites, rehab and repair jobs, and manufacturing facilities. The chisel scaler removes vinyl and ceramic tile, pool deck coatings, hardened food deposits, fiberglass and other manufacturing buildup, and also chips away concrete, asphalt and slag. Requiring 8 cfm of air at 90 psi, the ergonomic tool allows operators to stand up straight, reducing operator fatigue and increasing productivity.
