H&E Equipment Services last month celebrated a grand opening of its new Memphis, Tenn., branch. More than 250 customers, manufacturers, employees and personnel from neighboring businesses attended the event.
“H&E has done business in this area for a number of years and demand has grown so much, we felt a new store would best serve our customers,” said branch manager Steve Smith. “Many of our 20+ employees have over 10 years experience in the equipment business. Our expansion into Tennessee is a significant investment and represents the commitment that we have to this area and the customers we serve.”
Located on a five-acre site, the new facility is nearly 17,000 square feet. The shop is equipped to handle large repair jobs as well as general maintenance and repair.
The Memphis location is an authorized dealer for Grove, Sky Trak, JLG, Gehl, Genie, Terex, Manitowoc, Yanmar, National Crane and more, with capability to service and provide parts for nearly all brands of construction and industrial equipment.
H&E, based in Baton Rouge, La., is No. 11 on the RER 100, with 47 branches.
