Terex Aerial Work Platforms, a business segment of Terex Corp., has appointed two new product managers. Karen Stash joins the company as senior product manager. She will lead the team responsible for Genie scissorlifts, portable units, trailer-mounted booms and Terex light towers. Stash will report to Brad Allen, vice president, global engineering and product management.
“Karen’s deep experience managing cross-functional activities for global products in technical and business environments will be a tremendous asset for us,” said Allen. “As a longtime user of our lifts and booms, she is very familiar with our product line and the importance we place on our customers. Karen will be an integral part of our team.”
Prior to joining Terex AWP, Stash was the vice president of engineering at BioVantage Resources, a Colorado-based company that develops waste water remediation technology. In addition, she worked at Microsoft for 10 years as the founder and president of a device certification corporation, and was the worldwide lead of risk reduction across the supply chain in the manufacturing and operations group. She also spent 11 years with Weston Solutions, a Pennsylvania-based engineering firm.
Mark Powell joins the company as product manager for Genie scissorlifts. He will also assist in the development of new products to meet ongoing customer needs. Powell will report to Stash.
“Mark brings extensive experience managing and enhancing product portfolios to Terex AWP,” said Stash. “He understands our customers, their needs and will play an essential role in creating new opportunities for them and the product line.”
Powell joins the Terex AWP team after working for Flow International, a manufacturer of ultrahigh-pressure waterjet technology and robotics equipment, where he served as a product manager. Prior to that, Powell held a variety of marketing roles at Hewlett-Packard, Agilent Technologies and Tektronics.
