Bob Fassl to leave Atlas Copco

Bob Fassl, president of the Atlas Copco Mining and Rock Excavation Technique business area, has announced his resignation effective July 31.

“Bob has made significant contributions to the development and successful growth of Atlas Copco,” said Ronnie Leten, president and CEO of Atlas Copco. “After 30 years of global travelling he will move home to Canada to spend more time with his family. We will miss him but understand this decision and wish him all the best.”

Fassl started his Atlas Copco career in 1982 and has managed executive positions in Canada, the United States, Sweden and the United Kingdom. He has been instrumental in developing Atlas Copco’s mining and rock excavation business.
