Wanco Inc. last week named Tom Carolin Midwest regional sales manager.
Based out of McHenry, Ill., near Chicago, Carolin will be responsible for sales in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Ohio and Wisconsin.
His professional sales experience includes electronic signage, display technology and programmable controllers. He is also experienced in the areas of roadway lighting and electrical construction. Carolin’s most significant experience includes 15-plus years with Englewood Electronics Supply, a division of Wesco Distribution, and a distributor for Rockwell Automation, a worldwide leader in industrial control equipment and programming.
Carolin also worked for Clear Lam Packaging, a firm that specializes in developing environmentally friendly degradable packaging materials and processes.
Wanco Inc. is a manufacturer of highway safety and traffic control products, recently adding portable security and portable lighting to its offerings. The company’s comprehensive line of highway safety products are suited to a variety of informational, safety, and traffic control applications. The company is based in Arvada, Colo., near Denver.
