Topcon Positioning Systems last week named Ivan Di Federico senior vice president of global engineering.
For the past three years Di Federico had been general manager of TSD Integrated Controls, a joint venture between Topcon and Sauer-Danfoss, a world leader in the design, manufacture and sale of engineered hydraulic, electric and electronic systems and components.
Di Federico was formerly director of Sauer-Danfoss’ technical sales department for Europe, and earlier served as director of global product development for electronics.
Prior to joining Sauer-Danfoss he was research and development electronics manager for Caterpillar Paving Products.
Topcon Positioning Systems is a developer and manufacturer of positioning equipment, including precision GPS, GIS, laser, agriculture, optical surveying, and machine control products, software, and applications.
