Manitex Receives $7 Million in New Crane Orders

Manitex International, a manufacturer of boom truck cranes, rough terrain forklifts and special mission-oriented vehicles, said last week it received $7 million in new orders, including commercial boom truck cranes for the owner-operated and rental markets of about $5 million.

Manitex’ boom trucks and sign cranes are primarily marketed through national and international dealership networks. The cranes are primarily used in industrial projects, energy exploration and infrastructure development, including roads, bridges and commercial construction.

The company is based in Ridgeview, Ill.
