Link-Belt Expands Kentucky Production Facility

Link-Belt Construction Equipment Co. last week broke ground on a 90,000 square-foot expansion to its manufacturing facility in Lexington, Ky., according to a report by Lift & Access. The expansion will include an additional telescopic crane assembly line and a dedicated boom component shot blast and painting facility.

The expansion will include an additional telescopic crane assembly line and a dedicated boom component shot blast and painting facility.

The $24 million expansion is expected to create 120 new jobs.

Headquartered in Lexington, Ky., the Link-Belt Construction Equipment Co. designs, manufactures and sells telescopic and lattice boom cranes.
