JLG to Close North Dakota Facility

McConnellsburg, Pa.-based JLG Industries last week said it will close its Oakes, N.D., production plant by Sept. 24. The company has already laid off more than 100 workers there in the past year. The remaining 61 workers’ jobs will be cut in September.

The plant closing is a result of continued weakening demand in the construction equipment sector, the company said.
