Ingersoll Rand May Open Second Plant in Czech Republic

According to CzechInvest, a state-run agency in the Czech Republic, Ingersoll Rand Co. is planning to invest U.S. $31.9 million to build a new plant there.

According to CzechInvest, a state-run agency in the Czech Republic, Ingersoll Rand Co. is planning to invest U.S. $31.9 million to build a new plant there.

The new plant, estimated to employ 300 workers, would be the second in Dobris, Czech Republic, about 22 miles south of Prague. Hamilton, Bermuda-based Ingersoll Rand manufactures Bobcat excavators and loaders at its Dobris plant.

According to CzechInvest, Ingersoll Rand would commence production at the second plant in May 2007.
