Ingersoll Rand Acquires ZEKS Compressed Air Solutions

Hamilton, Bermuda-based Ingersoll-Rand Co. last week announced that it purchased the assets of privately owned ZEKS Compressed Air Solutions, a North American provider of compressed air treatment equipment. Terms were not disclosed.

Hamilton, Bermuda-based Ingersoll-Rand Co. last week announced that it purchased the assets of privately owned ZEKS Compressed Air Solutions, a North American provider of compressed air treatment equipment. Terms were not disclosed.

"ZEKS augments our leadership as a global provider of innovative and comprehensive compressed air systems," said Herbert Henkel, chairman, president and CEO for Ingersoll Rand. "With the addition of ZEKS to our business, we extend our portfolio of highly efficient and reliable compressed air technologies, and bolster our distribution network for the entire line of Ingersoll Rand compressed air products and services."

ZEKS Compressed Air Solutions develops and manufactures a complete line of compressed air treatment products, including air dryers, filters and system controllers, which are designed to maximize the productivity and reliability of compressed air systems. Sold through dozens of distributors, primarily in the United States and Canada, ZEKS products are used for diverse industrial and manufacturing applications in a range of industries. Founded in 1959, ZEKS is based in West Chester, Pa.

ZEKS will operate as part of Ingersoll Rand Air Solutions, a business unit of Ingersoll Rand's Industrial Technologies Sector.
