Tulsa, Okla.-based Hilti last week hosted its Hilti Heat Wave customer event at more than 70 locations across the United States, including Kansas City, Mo., where RER was in attendance.

Customers were able to operate the company’s new TE 1000-AVR breaker, which offers 16 foot pounds of energy for a wide range of demolition applications, the DD 120 core drill and the SFH 18-A drill.

“The new DD120 core drill was just released in August,” Mark Modersohn, Kansas City regional manager, told RER. “It now comes as one kit that includes the drill, the bit and the stand, which saves the contractor time on set-up.”

Customers were able to watch demo videos of the products while they enjoyed a pizza and barbecue lunch.
