Godwin Pumps Appoints Risk Manager, Safety Administrator

In an effort to secure the safety of its people and the reputation of its pumps, Godwin Pumps, the largest manufacturer of portable rental pumps in the United States with 24 branch offices and a network of more than 100 distributors worldwide, recently appointed a risk manager and safety administrator.

Timothy Glazar joins Godwin as its risk manager. Glazar has more than 20 years experience in due diligence, risk management and regulatory compliance, including loss prevention and control in industrial, manufacturing and commercial facilities.

“We continue to incorporate best business practices that will solidify our standing as the world leader in portable pump rentals,” said Godwin president, John Paz. “We were fortunate to find someone with Tim’s qualifications and experience, and anticipate that he will take great strides in fine-tuning our operations and field services.”

Godwin Pumps also appointed Mike Cable as its environmental, health & safety specialist. In this new role, Cable will work to establish and/or implement safety regulations, including training and auditing programs at each Godwin location.

Bridgeport, N.J.-based Godwin Pumps maintains a fleet of more than 5,000 portable rental pumps and related equipment for use in dewatering in construction, mining and quarrying; drinking water supply; and in wastewater bypasses in municipal, industrial and environmental markets.
