Cincinnati-based Finn Corp. last week said it won a contract to be the sole manufacturer supplying the Marine Corps System Command with both skid- and trailer-mounted HydroSeeders because they are designed for extreme working environments.
The contract has been approved for up to 80 HydroSeeders per year for the length of the contract.
Finn is supplying the Marine Corps with two different HydroSeeder models. One is a 900-gallon trailer-mounted HydroSeeder that is easily maneuvered in soft, sandy conditions, as well as capable of high-speed highway and off-road travel. The other model is a 1,200-gallon skid-mounted HydroSeeder that is compatible with the Marine Corps Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement and other military vehicles.
