Deere Recalls 117 Workers in Iowa

Moline, Ill.-based Deere & Co. last week announced it is recalling 117 workers at its Dubuque and Davenport, Iowa, plants, citing improved market conditions in the construction and forestry divisions.

Moline, Ill.-based Deere & Co. last week announced it is recalling 117 workers at its Dubuque and Davenport, Iowa, plants, citing improved market conditions in the construction and forestry divisions.

A company spokesman confirmed that 65 workers will return to the Dubuque plant, and 52 workers will return to the Davenport plant on March 8.

The company originally announced plans to cut workers at the two Iowa plants in March 2009.
