In December 2006, Deutz moved its headquarters into an office in Cologne-Porz, which now houses the assembly plant and the main research and development work for Deutz compact engines. Of Deutz’ total workforce of about 3,800 people, 1,600 are employed at the Cologne-Porz facility.
