Racine, Wis.-based CNH Parts & Service, the product support business of agricultural and construction equipment maker CNH Global N.V., last week opened a new technical call center that will support the equipment dealers in North America that offer CNH original remanufactured parts.

The agricultural and construction equipment dealers in North America that represent the CNH family of brands — Case IH, Case Construction Equipment, New Holland Agriculture, New Holland Construction and Kobelco — will now be able to call 888-WHY-REMAN (888-949-7362) for support that can help them grow their remanufactured parts business.

“Today’s equipment owners need cost-effective repair and maintenance options that can lower costs and maximize uptime,” said Eric Bippus, CNH Parts & Service vice president of sales and marketing North America. “Reman is an environmentally friendly parts option that offers lower costs, quality that is equal to new, and reduced repair times, so that customers can put their machines back to work sooner.”

CNH Parts & Service is investing in the new technical call center to help dealers increase their sales of CNH original remanufactured parts. The call center will be staffed by experienced remanufactured parts specialists who will provide dealers with answers to their questions while they remain on the line.

“Dealers have asked for a one-stop shop, where they can receive timely information regarding application part numbers, availability, pricing, core return criteria, warranty information and technical support,” said Steve Choate, director of the new technical call center. “This center will provide those answers, as well as supply dealers with information regarding new Reman products and selling tips.”

The call center will also provide dealers with valuable information, such as competitive data, market intelligence and additional selling tools that will help dealers educate customers on the advantages of using remanufactured products.

“The ultimate goal of our new call center is to offer superior support to the equipment dealers we serve, and to show them how Reman can increase their profitability and productivity, and at the same time, contribute to a healthier environment,” said Bippus.

CNH Parts & Services last week also launched Gold Value Parts to provide replacement parts for machines built between 1962 and 1992. Owners of these machines take great pride in maintaining their equipment, but often find it difficult to locate the right parts, the company said.

Gold Value is a new line of CNH original parts that is tailored to cover common repairs — such as clutch assemblies, brakes, steering parts, engine parts, electrical parts and gaskets — for Ford, International Harvester, David Brown, Fiat and Hesston equipment.

“Gold Value parts are for customers who want competitively priced parts from the original manufacturer for their older model machines,” said Bippus. “This competitive parts alternative offers superior quality and value — and is a great way to extend the useful life of older tractors.”

Gold Value parts are exclusively sold, serviced and supported by the agricultural and construction equipment dealerships in the U.S. and Canada that represent the CNH family of brands — Case IH, Case Construction Equipment, New Holland Agriculture, New Holland Construction and Kobelco.

CNH Parts & Service, the product support business of CNH Global N.V.,a majority-owned subsidiary of Fiat S.p.A., provides aftersales parts and service solutions for the CNH family of brands, and a wide range of global support services for the Case and New Holland dealer network.
