To celebrate 50 years of innovation, Bomag Americas is seeking the oldest operating Bomag roller in North America for its “Rollin’ with the Oldies” contest. The owner of the oldest roller will win a trip for two to Bomag’s world headquarters in scenic Boppard, Germany.

The “Rollin’ with the Oldies” contest runs through Sept. 30, and is open to all contractors in the U.S. and Canada. Rollers may be either single- or tandem-drum. The winning roller must be in operating condition and only ride-on rollers are eligible. The manufacturer’s original name or nameplate must be adhered to the machine and must be visible and legible. In addition, the serial number and model number must be original and legible.

Contractors can enter the “Rollin’ with the Oldies” contest by visiting their Bomag distributor, or by going to www.gobomag.com/oldies. Every contractor who enters will receive a free gift. Photos of entrants and their machines will be posted on the contest website.

“Since Bomag’s 50th anniversary in 2007, we have introduced nearly a dozen new models that have raised the bar in terms of innovation,” said Jerry Randecker, president of Bomag Americas. “But there are quite a few Bomag rollers in operation that are 20, 30 years old or older. That’s a testament to the quality we build into our machines.”

The owner of the oldest roller will win a trip for two to Germany to tour Bomag’s headquarters, including the company’s industry-leading research and development facility. Winners will also spend a day sightseeing, have dinner at a medieval castle and cruise up the scenic Rhine River.

“The winner of this contest will have a chance to see how we develop our machines, as well as enjoy the beautiful scenery and attractions in Germany,” said Randecker.

For official contest rules, contractors should contact their Bomag distributor or visit www.gobomag.com/oldies. Or, contact Bomag Americas at [email protected] or call (309) 852-6115.

Bomag Americas is headquartered in Kewanee, Ill.
