Björn Rosengren to Leave Atlas Copco

Atlas Copco last week announced that senior executive vice president of Atlas Copco AB and president of the business area Construction and Mining Technique Björn Rosengren, will leave the company as of Sept. 1, for a position as president and CEO of Wärtsilä Corp., Finland.

Atlas Copco last week announced that senior executive vice president of Atlas Copco AB and president of the business area Construction and Mining Technique Björn Rosengren, will leave the company as of Sept. 1, for a position as president and CEO of Wärtsilä Corp., Finland.

Rosengren has held several management positions in Atlas Copco since he joined the Group in 1998. In 2002 he was appointed to his current position. Rosengren is based in China and will continue to be based there during his remaining time with Atlas Copco.

Based in Stockholm, Sweden, Atlas Copco is an industrial group that produces compressors, construction and mining equipment, power tools and assembly systems.
