Atlas Copco Opens Customer Center in Nigeria

Stockholm, Sweden-based Atlas Copco last week opened its first customer center in Nigeria to strengthen its offering to customers in one of Africa’s largest growth markets.

Stockholm, Sweden-based Atlas Copco last week opened its first customer center in Nigeria to strengthen its offering to customers in one of Africa’s largest growth markets.

The new customer center, Atlas Copco CMT & CT Nigeria Ltd, markets products such as drill rigs and consumables for construction and mining and portable and stationary compressors. It will employ about 20 people. The Atlas Copco Group has previously been represented in the country by distributors.

“Nigeria is a potentially very large market for Atlas Copco, with its growing construction segment among other industries,” said Björn Rosengren, business area president, Atlas Copco Construction and Mining Technique. “We will now be able to fully serve our Nigerian customers and extend our already strong presence in the region.”

Atlas Copco is a global provider of industrial productivity solutions. The products and services range from compressed air and gas equipment, generators, construction and mining equipment, industrial tools and assembly systems, to related aftermarket and rental.
