McConnellsburg, Pa.-based JLG Industries, an Oshkosh Truck Corp. company and a leading manufacturer of aerial work platforms and telescopic material handlers, last week announced the introduction of five new die-cast models including the JLG model E33MJ mast boomlift, JLG Toucan model 1210 (the European version of model E33MJ), JLG electric scissorlift model 2646ES, and two versions of the Atlas II military telehandler. With these additions, JLG now offers 16 different models, the widest variety of die-cast aerials and telehandlers ever available from a single manufacturer.

The five new models will be introduced at The Rental Show in Las Vegas Feb 12-14.

Noted for their high level of detail, the models are painted in authentic JLG colors. Each has fully operable components, which include movable booms, adjustable steering and highly detailed controls. A unique variable height-locking feature on all models allows the booms and scissors to be raised to any height without loss of elevation over time. This makes them ideal for display.

Model E33MJ and Toucan model 1210 mast boomlifts allow multiple-height positioning of the work platform to heights exceeding 13 inches. Highlighting the realism and functionality of the full-size mast boomlift, the design of these die-cast replicas is enhanced with multidirectional front moving wheels, and a 360-degree rotating turret for maximum flexibility and unmatched positioning capabilities.

The mast boomlift models feature more than 20 fully functioning parts that allow them to roll forward and backward, lift and extend the boom arm, and rotate the gray, non-marking rubber wheels into various steering modes. It is finished in baked enamel paint with authentic product decals.

With highly detailed scissors stacks, the JLG electric scissorlift model 2646ES replica can display the platform at various intervals from a stowed height of 3 inches to nearly 10 inches into the air to provide realistic product displays or presentations for dealers and customers alike. In addition, the model features a slide-out deck extension that has a horizontal outreach exceeding 1 inch (50 inches on the actual scissorlift).

The replica of the JLG 2646ES features an operator’s control module with one-handed controls along with highly detailed transmission parts and undercarriage components. Incorporating nearly 20 fully functioning die-cast metal parts, the JLG 2646ES model also features gray, non-marking rubber wheels that steer and roll to help facilitate the die-cast model’s increased realism.

Exceeding 16 inches in length, two model replicas of the ATLAS II military telehandlers have the ability to extend their three-section boom more than 10 inches into the air at angles up to 45 degrees. The replicas of the ATLAS II feature accurate paint and decals, a highly detailed operator’s cab and engine compartment, and 20 fully functioning parts that allow them to roll forward and backward, lift and extend the boom arm and rotate the wheels into crab-steer, four-wheel steer and two-wheel steer modes. Two color schemes are available: olive drab and desert sand.
