Mustang introduces its next generation of RT Series track loaders — the 1750RT NXT2 and 2100RT NXT2. Powered by Tier 4 certified Yanmar diesel engines, these track loaders offer horsepower management monitors and are engineered to adjust the hydrostatic drive pump to produce the ideal tractive effort for the application at hand.

Powered by Tier 4-certified Yanmar diesel engines, these track loaders offer horsepower management monitors and are engineered to adjust the hydrostatic drive pump to produce the ideal tractive effort for the application at hand.

The 1750RT NXT2 offers a 69.9-hp engine and 179 foot pounds of peak torque while the 2100RT NXT2 offers a 72-hp engine and 217 foot-pounds of peak torque. The rated operating capacity on the 1750RT NXT2 is 1,750 pounds and on the 2100RT NXT2 it is 2,100 pounds.

The IdealTrax automatic track tensioning system is designed to extend track life and simplify track service and maintenance. IdealTrax eliminated the need for manual track tensioning and increases the life of the tracks, sprockets and bearings, because of the relief of track tension when the engine is shut off. A switch in the rear of the machine relaxes the tension of the tracks, allowing removal in a matter of minutes with minimal tools, which aids in track removal and changes in the field. The system saves the suggested 10- to 15-minute track tension checks that are recommended every 50 hours and the 30- to 45-minute tension readjustments required every 300 to 400 hours depending on usage.

“The updated 1750RT NXT2 and 2100RT NXT2 track loaders were developed in response to the requests of our dealers and customer base,” says Brian Rabe, manager of product development. “In addition to providing Tier 4-certified engines, the RT Series track loaders provide IdealTrax automatic track tensioning, straight tracking, drive management technology, and adjustments for operator comfort.”
