OVERLAND PARK, Kan.RER has launched its Internet-based RER 100 Roundtable. Sponsored by McConnellsburg, Pa.-based JLG Industries, the RER 100 Roundtable is a teleconference recorded for Internet playback featuring seven leading executives of RER 100 companies.

The 110-minute dialog, moderated by RER editor Michael Roth, features Michael Kneeland, executive vice president, operations, United Rentals; Charles Snyder, executive vice president of fleet and asset management, NationsRent; Mike Watts, CEO, Sunstate Equipment Co.; Don Ahern, CEO, Ahern Rentals; Barry Natwick, CEO, Volvo Rents; Willie Swisher, CEO, Stephenson's Rental Services; and Mark Clawson, CEO, Diamond Rental & Sales. Also joining in the conference is Craig Paylor, senior vice president of sales, marketing and customer support for JLG.

The conference covers a wide range of topics including: the changing expectations of the rental customer; technological support of the rental customer; rental marketing and changes in the role of the rental salesperson; the role of the rental company in providing service and repair; future trends in IT development; the changing and evolving relationships between rental companies and manufacturers; and more.
