BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. — Buffalo Grove, Ill.-based Yanmar America and its affiliates, Tuff Torq, Yanmar Manufacturing America, Yanmar Marine USA and Kanzaki have made $60,000 in cash donations to the American Red Cross. Additionally, Yanmar Co. of Japan is prepared to send two Yanmar wheel loaders to assist in the relief efforts for victims of Hurricane Katrina.

President Akihiko Nakaoka said the company has also instituted a matching gifts program, matching employee donations dollar for dollar. To date, employees have donated $2,300.
