ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Volvo Rents last month announced it entered into a contractual agreement with Result Group to operate its Rental Result management system worldwide.

The Result system is a software application providing complete lifecycle management of the rental of construction equipment and related assets from acquisition to disposal. The system is designed to provide fast and efficient rental contract processing supported by effective, integrated back-office functions including workshop, maintenance, accounting, financial and management reporting.

Result Group is based in the United Kingdom, with offices in Phoenix and Atlanta. It develops and owns the Java-based Enterprise Business System that has more than 15,000 system users worldwide.

Volvo Rents has 65 rental centers in North America, and 62 in Europe, with branches in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Poland and Austria. Based in Asheville, N.C., Volvo Rents is No. 15 on the RER 100.
