CONCORD, Ontario — Toromont Industries announced that it completed the previously announced acquisition of Access Rentals and Supply Ltd., based in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.

“This acquisition reflects our continued commitment to the further expansion of our Battlefield — The Cat Rental Store business unit, which now has 31 locations in Newfoundland, Ontario and Manitoba,” said Hugo Sorensen, Toromont president and CEO.

In other Toromont news, the company's Caterpillar dealership, Toromont Cat, secured an order for 60 backhoe loaders from the utilities division of Aecon Group Inc., one of Canada's largest publicly traded construction and infrastructure development companies.
