CONCORD, Ontario — Toromont Industries, parent company of Stoney Creek, Ontario-based Battlefield Equipment Rentals, agreed to purchase the assets of Sunrise Rentals, Timmins, Ontario. Battlefield, which operates Cat Rental Stores in Ontario, Manitoba and Newfoundland, assumed control of the company March 7.

Former Sunrise personnel Jim, Patricia, Gord and Kim Labine and Carrie Seaton have remained active in the business and are managing the Timmins branch.

Battlefield Equipment Rentals is No. 22 on the RER 100.
