BATON ROUGE, La. — H&E Equipment Services recently celebrated the grand opening of its new full-service Sulphur, La., facility. More than 500 customers, manufacturers, employees and neighboring businesses attended the event, which included a self-guided facility tour, exhibits, equipment demonstrations and a crawfish boil.

“This new facility is a major improvement over our old one,” said branch manager Glenn Willis. “From the ground up it was designed and built with the customer in mind. Customers can come to us having great confidence that we have the tools, training and know-how to maintain and repair their equipment.” The facility will provide rental, sales, parts and service to H&E customers.

The facility is nearly 21,000 square feet under roof on a four-acre lot. In addition to general maintenance and repair, the shop is equipped to handle large repair jobs with two 10-ton overhead cranes and a brand new track press.

The Sulphur location is the authorized dealer for Komatsu, Grove, Ingersoll Rand, Sennebogen, Gomaco, Waldon, Pemberton, TrailKing, Okada, CP and more.

No. 10 on the RER 100, Baton Rouge, La.-based H&E has 47 U.S. locations.
