BEAUMONT, Texas — National Trench Safety, a Houston-based trench safety and traffic safety rental and sales company, recently opened a branch in Beaumont, Texas. The branch will be managed by Gary Martin, who has more than 20 years of experience in the trench and traffic safety industry.

“Our current plans call for NTS to open at least one additional new branch operation in late 2004,” said NTS president Ron Chilton. “In 2005, NTS will continue to look for existing trench safety and traffic safety companies that we may be able to acquire, as well as to open additional new branch operations.”

NTS began operations early this year. In May it acquired Mikedon, a Houston-based company, which became its hub for Texas operations. Beaumont, an industrial city with more than 100,000 people, is located about 85 miles east of Houston.
