RESERVE, La. — Louisiana Rents, the rental division of Louisiana Machinery, opened a new Cat Rental Store facility in Lake Charles, La., last month, rental manager for Cat Rents, Louisiana Machinery Jay Dinger told RER.

Louisiana was already offering rental services out of the dealership location, but now will operate on a stand-alone basis. It acquired a facility that was previously operated by Deere dealer Nortrax. The company recently closed two branches, Port Fouchon and Morgan City, which had focused on the offshore oil rental segment.

Louisiana Rents is No. 35 on the new RER 100.
