Skyjack Goes Live With New Website

Guelph, Ontario-based Skyjack launched its new website, www.skyjack.com. The site is designed to continue the company's effort to improve and expand on its customer service and support. Improved navigation, product information downloads, improved technical manual navigation and downloads, dealer contact information and current news announcements are some of the enhanced features now available to Skyjack customers. Skyjack is a global provider of self-propelled aerial work platforms.

The site also offers online information about two safety programs. The first option is the Aerial Work Platform Training Program, which is the North American subsidiary of International Powered Access Federation. As a result of a collaborative effort between Skyjack and AWPT to adapt the European IPAF program to the North American market, Skyjack has opened two AWPT authorized training centers, one in St. Charles, Ill., and the other in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. The second training option is the new Skyjack Operator Training Program, which has been strengthened with the addition of materials from the AWPT program. In order to ensure that the delivery of both AWPT and Skyjack programs meet requisite criteria, the company has created a registered Instructor Training Course for both of the training options. Skyjack and AWPT will only issue their respective certificates of completion to those who have successfully completed programs taught by registered Skyjack or AWPT Instructors.
