JCB replaces its 8052 mini-excavator model with two 11,000-pound midi-excavators and the 8055 (pictured). The company offers a total of 16 models, including seven zero-tail-swing ZTS machines, and a number of reduced-tail-swing models offering a choice of weights, power plants and specifications to match user requirements. All JCB mini- and midi-excavators are capable of working with a wide range of buckets and powered attachments, including JCB Hammermaster hydraulic breakers, augers, demolition shears and specialized curb-laying equipment.
