The MHE 65 SDS-Max chipping hammer from Metabo is designed for sizing concrete openings in doors and windows, chasing cracks on floor repairs, wall chasing, or embedding pipe and conduit into concrete or block walls. The chipping hammer is also used in surface preparation and removal of overpour and splash in concrete work. The 10.5-amp motor provides 1,325 to 2,650 bpm. Ergonomic, rounded-off areas on the handle and motor casing allow users a comfortable working position. The rear handle enables two-handed operation; and the gear switch is larger for easy operation, even when the user is wearing gloves.
