Case Construction Equipment introduces the SiteWatch app for the iPad, which provides business owners and fleet managers with performance, productivity and maintenance data. The SiteWatch iPad app provides actionable information to help manage fleet maintenance, optimize machine performance/utilization, lower fuel consumption and idle time, and lower total operating costs. Among its features, the SiteWatch app provides the ability to: review fleet details and locate machinery; review and create geofences; check utilization and working status durations; review the status of alarms received within a selected time period; and review and analyze fuel consumption.
Doosan has introduced an upgraded telematics package for its heavy equipment including excavators, wheel loaders and articulated dump trucks. The new system is called Doosan Telematics, and will be standard on all Doosan equipment, except for DX63-3 and DX85R-3 compact excavators. Among its features are a GPS unit, a Q-Pro wireless data modem and wireless service, a satellite antenna and service, and a core TMS website, which offers Doosan customers access to many useful reports and important machine data. Each new Doosan machine that arrived at Doosan dealerships after July 1, 2014, came with a complimentary three-year subscription, including prepaid wireless service.
DPL Telematics releases the MultiTrack system, a solution for wireless monitoring and remote tracking of any powered or unpowered asset to improve logistics, manage inventory and curb theft. The portable GPS unit requires no external wiring or antenna and may be hidden on any asset, installing in seconds. The MultiTrack allows managers to remotely monitor any asset accurately from a robust, Internet-based software package or mobile app. The unit requires no external wiring or antenna. It features up to 16 weeks of internal battery life between charges and completely recharges in three hours via wall plug.

It offers enhanced connectivity for rental owners’ equipment with constant visibility and the ability to monitor how and where machines are operating in real time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The system is designed to lower the fleet’s cost of ownership, generate higher revenues and improve ROI. ClearSky allows users to track the vital signs of their equipment, diagnose machine problems, monitor ideal PM intervals to reduce unexpected failures, and plan more efficient service calls with technicians.
