Wacker Neuson Launches Second Year of On-the-Road Show

Wacker Neuson’s traveling trade show, crossing the United States and Canada to promote equipment and jobsite solutions to contractors, will soon begin its second year on the road, Wacker Neuson announced at the World of Concrete show in Las Vegas recently. Wacker Neuson launched the traveling event last year with the goal of reaching the customer face to face. Working with local dealers, the On the Road program invites customers to experience Wacker Neuson equipment and meet with dealer personnel in a no-pressure environment, the company said.

Wacker Neuson last year deployed the customized 53-foot trailer that travels with more than 70 machines and displays to 25 dealers in the U.S. and Canada.

“The results for 2012 On the Road program were really exciting,” said Todd Christifulli, national sales manager. “Our sales team, working with dealers met thousands of contractors and although it is really designed as a ‘kick-the-tires’ event, it proved to have positive sales for our dealers as well.”

The on the road campaign will begin its second year this month. The roaming billboard filled with machines will start in the southeast and move clockwise to the southwest, west and then north into Canada, eventually winding up its five-month journey in the northeast.

“We’ve had many dealers asking us when the truck will be in their region so they can hold an event,” added Christifulli. “Our schedule is filling up fast and we are expecting to reach more end users this year as the program builds steam.”

Events are organized by local dealers and vary in content, but typically include local food specialties, product demonstrations, door prizes and giveaways, networking opportunities, events such as excavator challenges and more. For more information, visit www.wn-ontheroad.com.
