Wacker Neuson has deployed a customized 53-foot trailer complete with more than 70 machines and displays that will cross the country in 2012. Working with local dealers, this traveling trade show will bring Wacker Neuson equipment and jobsite solutions to contractors allowing them to get to know their dealer and Wacker Neuson equipment in a no-pressure environment.
Wacker Neuson started its first On the Road campaign in 1957 with one man, Hermann Wacker, and one product, the industry’s first rammer. Wacker traveled across the country in the family station wagon introducing a new way to improve productivity, one job site at a time.
In 2012, Wacker Neuson will be On the Road again, but this time in a 53-foot trailer decked out with all the latest Wacker Neuson products and jobsite solutions. The On the Roadtruck will travel across North America to dealer events, setting up a complete trade show at each stop. Wacker Neuson and dealer staff will be onsite to work with contractors on everything from starting to finishing their next job. Dealers will customize each event by offering local food specialties, used equipment sales, door prices, and more.
“The On The Road 2012 dealer development project will include 25 stops at key dealers in metropolitan markets,” said Todd Christifulli, Wacker Neuson national sales manager. “We are bringing the innovation directly to the local markets.”
