Snorkel International recently made it a memorable trip to The Rental Show in Las Vegas for one of its most loyal and long-standing dealers. The company held a party for more than 300 close friends and customers to launch the celebrations for its 50th anniversary. The highlight of the event, held at the Harley Davidson Cafe on the Las Vegas Strip, was a sweepstake for a Harley Davidson motorcycle.

The lucky name drawn out of the bag was James Adkins, vice president of East-West Rental Center, in the Pacific island of Guam.

“This trip to Vegas, I was down quite a bit at the tables, but Snorkel changed my luck — I am definitely ahead of the game now!” Adkins said.

Adkins won a Harley Davidson FLHTCU Ultra Electraglide with a big bore, 103-inch motor kit. Built for cruising, the bike came with fully fitted chrome accessories; exclusive custom-made Snorkel decals and a custom-stitched Snorkel seat.

“This party was a great way for us to thank our customers and to start the celebrations for Snorkel’s 50th anniversary,” said Frank Scarborough, Snorkel president.

Founded in 1972 by Adkins’ father, Jim, East-West Rental has been a Snorkel dealer for more than 15 years. Snorkel will deliver the Harley to Adkins with his latest fleet order of boom and scissorlifts, currently being built at Snorkel’s Kansas factory.
