Beast's teeth tear it up
Bandit Beast Recyclers feature the new Extender Teeth (XT) line of Beast teeth to help push a higher volume of material through the machine with maximized efficiency. The XT teeth are now standard in the company's new Beast units, but owners can also purchase the teeth for their current machines.
The XT line of fan teeth features a raker in front of the cutting device, designed to keep the material riding above it, which limits the amount of material that can fall below to the cutter bodies and attachment bolts. A new process of attaching either splitting- or cutting-type tools to the XT teeth make it virtually impossible to break the tool from its forged holder. Under normal operating conditions, the teeth should last hundreds of hours. The XT fan teeth also control the Beast's bite to a maximum of ¾ inch. Because the fan teeth control the length of the cut, the machine runs smoother and consumes less fuel.
“XT teeth and XT fan teeth make the Beast more productive in that they push more material through the screen faster and the teeth last longer,” says Travis Lint, East Coast large equipment sales representative for Bandit Industries. “The XT teeth are an improvement over the previous teeth as the process of attaching the carbide to the forged tooth has improved, resulting in longer tooth life.”
