Attachment Prepares Seedbeds, Removes Rocks
The Toro Power Box Rake attachment is designed for use on the Toro Dingo compact utility loaders and transforms rough terrain into prepared seedbed. With a 4-foot width, the attachment can be used for construction and renovation projects, including seedbed preparation, sod preparation and rock removal.
The Power Box Rake features triple-sealed, shielded roller bearings that stand up to harsh soil conditions. Pure carbide proprietary teeth are designed for long life and ensure the best possible sub-base fracture pattern, promoting optimum moisture retention and release.
This attachment is adaptable to a variety of soil moisture conditions through the use of the adjustable Rhino-Hide barrier, which allows the operator to choose the size of material to be left on the seedbed. Raising the barrier promotes soil drying and saves time by opening up muddy sites. Sturdy end plates that channel dirt through to the raking roller can be removed for windrowing or attached to the backside of the rake for reverse box raking and spreading fill piles.
“It can be used to transform unprepared turf into a seedbed,” says Neil Borenstein, senior marketing manager for Toro. “It breaks up soil and can also size soil and fluff it up. There's an easy on/off on the machine and it comes equipped with carbide teeth.”
