Diamond Products

Diamond Products introduces the Delux-Cut high-speed segmented diamond blade. This general-purpose high-speed blade features a .394-inch segment height and is available in 12- and 14-inch diameter sizes. The Delux-Cut blade is designed for use on high-speed saws and walk-behind saws of 20 hp or less.

DeWalt

DeWalt introduces the metal demolition reciprocating saw blades — DW4864 through DW4869 (pictured). The blades feature a sharper tooth geometry that promotes faster cutting speeds and increases productivity on the jobsite. For increased blade life, the blades are designed with an aggressive shank angle that allows more teeth to make contact with the material being cut, helping to maintain the cutting rate of the blade as it wears. Each blade features an anti-stick coating to minimize friction and create clean, smooth cuts.

Bosch Power Tools

The SpeedWave diamond blades from Bosch offer a new segment design and a center vibration-dampening cooling disc to cut faster and last longer. Available in 4.5-, 5-, 7- and 9-inch diameters, the blades are designed to cut cured and reinforced concrete, roofing tile, brick and masonry materials. The wave-shaped ridge along both sides of each segment is designed to reduce blade friction and drag. The design also helps clear dust faster for better overall performance. The cooling disc uses the blade's rotation to draw in air and evenly cool the blade surface for longer life.

Multiquip

The Wafer Style Tuck Point Blades, from Multiquip's Diamond Cutting division, allow operators to remove grout and mortar between bricks and in concrete blocks in foundation walls. Ten wafer tuck blades are offered with double- and triple-style models ranging in diameter from 4 to 7 inches and in thickness from ¼-inch to 3/8-inch. The blades can be used with most right-angle grinders.

Wacker

Wacker's line of diamond blades features a color-coded system for easier blade selection, as well as a split segment design that offers versatility, faster cutting, longer life and lower vibrations through the increased number of segments. By doubling the number of segments, the angle of contact to the material is reduced to provide faster cutting with lower vibrations. There are more exit points for dust particles, which keeps the blade cooler and increases the life of the blade. The combination of a softer bond and increased air flow allows this blade to work on various materials on the jobsite. The blades are available with a 12- to 14-inch diameter.

Hitachi Power Tools

Hitachi introduces the 725213 VPR Series framing circular saw blade. This 7¼-inch 24-tooth premium blade features an alternating tooth bevel design for a fast, clean cut. The 725213 VPR blade is laser cut from a flat plate of steel, which provides for a flatter blade. The VPR series features a patented proprietary hollow ground tooth design in which each tooth acts like a scoop contributing to the fast, yet smoother cut with less effort from the tool.

Hilti

The Contractor Pro high-speed diamond blades from Hilti are available in three versions — general purpose segmented, general purpose turbo and asphalt segmented — and are designed for cutting applications in reinforced concrete, concrete block, clay brick and other masonry materials. The segmented blades feature a .125-inch thickness and a stronger core for use on low horsepower walk-behind saws. Standard with a 20 millimeter arbor and 1-inch knockout, the blades can easily adapt to larger saws and, although formulated for dry use, they can also be used wet to reduce dust and noise.
