West’s Rentals & Sales Turns 20

West’s Rentals and Sales, Pendleton, Ore., celebrated its 20^th birthday last Friday with an open house, offering donuts and coffee in the morning and a hamburger barbecue in the afternoon.

Owners Chuck and Sharon West started West’s Rentals in Enterprise, Ore., in 1978. Nine years later they acquired Charlie Brown Rentals. The Wests closed the Enterprise operation and opened the Pendleton business June 1, 1987.

The West’s daughter Mindi Miller and her husband Rick Miller joined the company at that time and have since served as office manager and general manager, respectively.

West’s is a general rental center, with equipment for homeowner, party rental and construction.
