Volvo Construction Equipment, which acquired the road machinery business from Ingersoll Rand in April of 2007, is now producing the line in Volvo colors. By agreement, the equipment was not required to appear in new Volvo colors until the end of April 2008, but by the end of 2007 Volvo road machinery began coming off the production line in the traditional Volvo yellow and gray carrying the Volvo brand.

The official unveiling of the new look will take place at the Volvo Construction Equipment ConExpo exhibit located at booth 2509 in the North Hall on Tuesday, March 11, at 9:30a.m. Volvo Road Machinery president, Pat Olney, will host the unveiling.

Machines sporting the new look at the show will be the single-drum Volvo SD116D compactor, the double-drum Volvo 138HF asphalt compactor, the single-drum Volvo SD-25 soil compactor, the Volvo PF6170 and Volvo PF6110 asphalt pavers, and the Volvo MW500 milling machine.
