United Rentals CFO Named to Delphi Board

Delphi Corp. last week said it has named United Rentals chief financial officer Martin Welch to its board of directors.

Welch will serve on Delphi’s audit committee, filling the vacancy created by the departure of Bernd Gottschalk.

Before becoming CFO of United Rentals in 2005, Welch served as director and business adviser to private equity firm York Management Services, Somerset, N.J., and was CFO of Kmart Corp. in Troy, Mich.
