Sugar Grove, Ill.-based Metrolift last week named John Hofmeyer to its sales staff. Hofmeyer is a 20-year rental industry veteran who worked as sales manager for NES Rentals and Brambles Equipment Services covering Chicago and the Wisconsin and Northwestern Indiana markets. Hofmeyer is returning to Chicago after working for Aggreko for two years in St. Louis covering the central United States from Missouri to Northern Texas.

“We look forward to utilizing [Hofmeyer’s] knowledge and skills while our company continues to profitably grow,” said Metrolift president Rick Dahl.

Metrolift is a 16-year-old rental company serving the greater Chicago market. In 2006, the company narrowly missed the RER 100, ranked No. 103, and is a strong candidate to be listed in this year’s list based on strong revenue growth in 2006.
