Kropp Equipment is on the verge of opening a branch in Milwaukee, owner Al Kropp told RERReports. Kropp said he hopes to begin moving into the facility over the next 10 days.

Kropp Equipment, based in Schererville, Ind., specializes in aerial work platforms, telehandlers and small cranes. It also has branches in South Beloit and Streamwood, Ill. The company reports about $9.5 million in 2006 rental volume.

Kropp added that his company recently finalized the acquisition of its property in South Beloit. Kropp Equipment began doing business in a rented facility in May 2005.
