With a recent acquisition of 23 mini-excavators, HSS Hire Ireland has become the largest rental of Kubota mini-excavators in Ireland, with a total Kubota fleet of 48 units, the company said. HSS Ireland has 24 branches in Ireland, with headquarters in Dublin.

In late 2007, HSS Hire Ireland opened its Dublin Superstore with a floor area of 22,955 square feet, as well as a 26,500-square-foot Superstore in Belfast. The new outlets will allow HSS to increase its small contractor business,

HSS Hire, one of the United Kingdom’s largest tool and equipment rental companies, buys its mini-excavators from Whelan Plant Sales, a Kubota distributor in Ennis, County Clare.
